As a live acoustic duo and wedding entertainers, there are certain venues that always feel like a dream to return to—and Maleny Manor is one of them. Nestled in the lush Sunshine Coast hinterland, the moment you drive down its scenic, winding driveway, you're greeted by beautifully manicured gardens and the breathtaking grandeur of the Manor itself. It’s the perfect setting for a romantic and unforgettable wedding celebration.
A Picture-Perfect Ceremony with Mountain Views
Michelle and James chose to hold their wedding ceremony under the stunning pavilion at Maleny Manor, with panoramic views of the mountain ranges as their backdrop. The atmosphere was nothing short of magical. As requested, we performed “In Case You Didn’t Know” by Brett Young for Michelle’s aisle entrance—a beautiful touch of country music that made the moment deeply personal and emotional.
Acoustic Vibes for Cocktail Hour
Following the ceremony, as the sun began to set behind the mountains, guests gathered for cocktail hour. We set the tone with a live acoustic set of relaxed, feel-good songs, creating the perfect ambience as guests mingled, laughed, and enjoyed canapés and drinks.
Live Music During Dinner in the Manor
Once the bridal party had wrapped up their photos, we moved inside to continue the live music experience during dinner. As Michelle and James made their grand entrance to “Missing Piece” by Vance Joy, played through our DJ system, they were met with cheers and applause from their closest family and friends.
A First Dance to Remember
After the formalities were complete, the moment everyone had been waiting for arrived—the first dance. As the couple cut their cake, we moved into position for Brad to deliver a soulful rendition of “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton. The emotion in the room was palpable as Michelle and James danced together for the first time as husband and wife.
Dancefloor Party All Night Long
No sooner had the first dance ended than the party began! Michelle and James invited their guests to join them on the dancefloor, and Brodie fired up the DJ decks to keep the dancefloor full all night long. From sing-alongs to dance anthems, the celebration didn’t slow down once—and we loved every second of it.
