After two beautiful, love-soaked months soaking up that sweet mum and baby bubble, I felt the gentle nudge—it was time to let my voice flow again. And what better way to return than by performing at a stunning wedding reception at the Kingscliff Beach Hotel?
A Celebration of Love, Unity, and New Beginnings
This wedding wasn’t just about two people tying the knot—it was about two families choosing to become one. There’s something incredibly special about watching love bring people together in unexpected and beautiful ways. It reminded us that no matter how carefully we plan our lives, the universe often has something even better in store—something written in the stars.
A Coastal Backdrop Made for Romance
With the ocean waves rolling in behind us and a sea breeze keeping everyone cool, the setting at Kingscliff Beach Hotel couldn’t have been more perfect. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the crowd? An absolute dream. It was one of those weddings where love filled the air from the very start.
As a bonus, it gave us the perfect excuse for a little family getaway—our baby girl even got to meet some of her cousins down south!
First Dance Magic + Dancefloor Joy
I’ll be honest—I was nervous leaving our little one for the evening. But the joy of performing, the connection with the crowd, and the energy in the room quickly put me at ease. One of the most magical moments? Brad’s soulful performance of ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran for the couple’s first dance. It was a tear-jerker in the best way.
From there, the night took off with timeless classics that had everyone—from toddlers to grandparents—up on the dancefloor. There was laughter, a few happy tears, and memories made that we’re sure this couple will hold close for a lifetime.
Feeling Grateful
We feel so lucky to have been part of such a meaningful celebration. To the newlyweds—thank you for trusting us with your special day. We know your journey together is going to be full of love, laughter, and a whole lot of joy.
